The project involves the rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructures along the G.A. Main Canal from L.S. 58.650 km to 92.200 km, encompassing the Akkaravattam Main Channel, Alivalam Channel, Naduvikottai Channel, G.A. No. 13 Channel, and G.A. No. 14 Channel. Additionally, feeding tanks will be constructed in Orathanadu and Pattukkottai Taluks of Thanjavur District, as well as Karambagudi Taluk of Pudukottai District. This comprehensive initiative aims to enhance irrigation efficiency, optimize water distribution, and improve agricultural productivity in the respective regions.
